We have access to the very latest environmentally friendly products and techniques. We can carry out environmental surveys and assess your property’s heating efficiency rating before recommending a new system that could offer significant energy savings. We offer the latest in highly efficient boilers, complementary systems, green pipe systems and products made from renewable resources. And our green responsibilities don’t end with the completion of your job, we ensure that all waste is recycled or handled in the most environmentally sensitive way.

Who we are

greentap was established in 2008, following the acquisition of a significant and long-established Kent-based plumbing business. Built on this solid foundation, greentap has combined new thinking and new approaches with the heritage of a traditional family concern. We serve a diverse customer base – we can help domestic customers just as efficiently and effectively as larger commercial business clients, local authorities and non-profit organisations such as housing associations.

Our team

Greentap Plumbing was founded in October 2008 by Managing Director Graham Erskine, following the successful acquisition of two prominent commercial and domestic plumbing companies in the south of England.

Focused on environmental issues, quality of work and employees, and service, Greentap and Care Plumbing Solutions (the company’s domestic arm) bring a fresh, customer-focused and quality approach to plumbing in the building services sector.

Graham Erskine, Managing Director

Graham has spent 15 years in senior management positions within major blue chip companies and at the same time successfully managed a property refurbishment company, experiencing at first-hand the horrors of dealing with the building contractors sector.

After much frustration and realising that there was a niche in the market for a well-managed customer service focused plumbing company Greentap was formed. Greentap Plumbing Limited encompasses two companies; with a combined commercial and domestic plumbing experience of nearly 20 years and over 100 years of combined plumbing experience within its employee base.

Michael Chalk, Plumbing Operations Director

Mike has 24 years’ experience in the plumbing trade gathered on domestic, industrial heating, and plumbing applications throughout the UK. His plumbing career started as a 16-year-old apprentice with Drake & Scull Engineering. After 13 years there he set up his own successful plumbing business and through quality of work and customer care became established as the preferred supplier of many of the main contractors and high street names.

Mike now heads Greentap's Plumbing Operations ensuring customers in both the commercial and domestic sectors get the most cost effective and future proof solutions to meet their plumbing needs.

Malcolm Hayward, Foreman/Safety Supervisor

With over 30 years in the trade, Malcolm will run his own contracts within the company, oversee other contracts in progress and will be one of the main contact points on larger projects.
